Professor Jinxiang Dong

Jinxiang Dong, professor of Zhejiang University and PhD supervisor. From 1993 to 1994, he was a visiting professor of Department of Computer Science of Southern California University. From March 1999 to July 1999, he is a visiting professor at the National Academy of Sciences of Canada. He have been awarded the "outstanding contributions to middle-aged and young experts of Zhejiang Province" title. In 1996 and 2001, he was awarded by the State Science and Technology "outstanding contributions at the national high-tech research and development project" the title of the advanced workers.

In recent years, he mainly engaged in computer-aided design and graphics, artificial intelligence, engineering databases and intelligent information processing, virtual prototyping, etc. He was responsible of more than a dozen state-level research, including the National Natural Science Foundation Project " The basis of product configuration model based on Ontology and product bound ", Project 863" products data transfer exchange of integrated software tools based on the STEP standard ", the State Planning Commission, the key technology projects of major projects " product design for manufacturing technologies and systems "and so on.

A total of eight scientific and technological progress awards of scientific research by the national, provincial and ministerial level, including the "product-based model of integrated CAD / CAPP / CAM system" in 1999 Third award by National Scientific and Technological Progress; "color prints and scanning automation draft System "in 1996 third award by countries scientific and technological progress. Published over 200 academic articles, in which SCI / EI included more than 90 articles.
